Photographs of various activities in Japan and France

Photographs, it is said, explain better then words. We feel this true in these examples.  Attached are photographs depicting various aspects of Guy's life in Japan and in France.

Amazing how un-Asian the typical Ainu looks. This photo could have been taken in Uzbekistan, or Greece, and yet this man is a full-blooded Ainu whose roots are in Hokkaido, Japan.

Guy's country house in the Dordogne with his 1964 2cv. He usually spends his spring breaks and a few weeks in the summer there, usually relaxing and looking for new wines and restaurants to discover.

"La Bergeronette" (the house's name) in winter. The big fireplace in the living room adds warmth and an ancient mood to the 19th century dwelling.

The motorcycle I use at present for touring, to replace "Traveller" (see Motorcycle Vagabonding in Japan"). This is a BMW F650/Funduro.
